Humans vs. Zombies Privacy Policy

Privacy Policy Statement

We will not reveal or share any personally identifiable information of any of our visitors to any third party.

Who is a third party? Well, the first party is you, the second party is us, so it’s basically anyone who’s not you or us. It’s them. And, you know, they probably have enough already.

Game moderators may also request their players’ email addresses through the HvZ SOURCE software. This way, they can easily contact their players about game happenings, game resets, or emergencies.

The HvZ servers automatically attempt to recognize the email address and/or username of each visitor to our site.

We collect the e-mail address and username of anyone posting messages to our forums and those who use our game software. Furthermore, we also collect the e-mail addresses of those who communicate with us via e-mail and web comments, as well as user-specific information regarding which pages consumers access, and additional information volunteered by the consumer.

This collected information is used to improve the general content of our Web page as well as to customize the page for each individual visitor. It could additionally be used to contact consumers for marketing purposes.

We use cookies to store visitor preferences and record session information, such as items that consumers add to their shopping cart.

If you do not want to receive e-mail from us in the future, please let us know by visiting http://www.humansvszombies.org/listserv/mail.cgi.

We may use customer information for new, unanticipated purposes not previously disclosed in our privacy policy. If our information collection practices change at any time in the future, we will update the privacy policy on our website and only use data collected from the time of the policy change onward for these new purposes. If you are concerned about how your information is used, please check our Privacy Policy periodically.

Upon request we will provide users with their own unique identifier information (e.g. customer number or password) as well as the contact information (e.g. name, address, phone number) that we maintain for them. Users can access or alter this information by e-mailing [email protected].

When we send and receive sensitive data such as financial information, we redirect visitors to a secure server and will notify visitors through a pop-up screen that we have enacted security measures from our physical facilities to protect against the loss, misuse or alteration of information that we have collected from you.

If you believe that this site is not following its stated information policy, please contact us at [email protected].
